Final Digipak

Here is a picture of our final digipak:

Overall, I am very pleased with our Digipak and think that we have achieved a very professional and well put together Digipak.

Here are some close up shots of the Digipak:

Editing our social media page

Here is a short video about how the social media page is going so far and what we have done to improve:

Proof that these are original photos:

This photo was taken when I went to the Ivy in Guildford for a nice dinner out. Here is another image of me outside the restaurant:

This photo below was taken by Mimi when she went on holiday at a bar in Spain:

The picture below was taken at our school outside two telephone boxes:

Here is an image of my friend standing outside the same telephone boxes:

Below is an image of my dog when we went to a photoshoot, this was an image I took behind the scenes which I then edited to enhance the darkness of my dogs coat and the redness of the chair:

Here is an image of me with my dog:

Below is an image of the tour dates poster we made on Canva:

Here is a time-lapse of Mimi and I making it:

Lastly, this image below was taken by Matilde when holding the phone and was taken in the location of Ewhurst the boarding house:

Here is another image of her with the same nails:

It should also be noted that the 3 post photo was heavy edited by Jake on photoshop. This was something that we made the creative choice to include, since our artists debut album is called 'Like a Flame', therefore we thought it was significant to have this post. However, we ensured that we made the image our own by removing the original background, extending the image to fit across 3 posts and make the flame more red and orange than yellow and orange.

Editing Our Digipak

We're currently working on constructing and finalising our Digipak in Photoshop. We had finished our front cover the day before, but the other side of the Digipak still needed to be finalised. As a result, we've been doing the following:

Here is a picture of what our front cover looks like so far:

The front page has remained the same since last time, however I believe we might consider moving Gia to make her name stick out more.

Here is a picture of what our inside front cover looks like:

Jake came up with the concept of including reviews on this side so that when people buy the Digipak, they will know they aren't wasting their money and that many others have appreciated it. The white autographic, signature-like fount was chosen to evoke a personal response, as if the artists had personally signed the Digipak for the purchaser.

Here is a picture of what our back cover looks like:

Finally, we decided to use Photoshop to generate a variety of options and see which ones appear best on this side. The black bar at the bottom of the screen allows us to clearly show who the record label is, which we named 'fishers record' after taking inspiration from other record labels like'republic records' and incorporating it into our own, a barcode that can be scanned in stores, and a link to her website that tells the audience more about her as an artist. That was, in my opinion, a really wise decision. We also chose to put the names of Jake's songs in the middle of the screen to bring the audience's attention to them. When it came to naming the songs, we knew it was critical to match the title to her star persona, which depicted a fun, sassy, brave, confident, and mysterious woman. One difficulty I believe we have with the song titles is that they blend in with her teeth's whiteness. As a result, it might be beneficial to choose a little bolder font so that the reader can read them more easily.

Overall, I'm  pleased and looking forward to seeing the finished product and considering the issues I've mentioned, but I'm even more excited to see it in its entirety.

How our Instagram page is looking...

We've decided to share some photographs on our social media platform this week. So far, this is how it appears:

Here's a quick video that explains our thinking behind each post and what we plan to do to move the page forward:

Release Forms

A copy of all the contributor release forms we've signed so far may be found here. One of our dancers, Jonti, the primary artist, Matilde, and our sweetheart, Eve, are still missing. By having the cast sign this form, we will be able to broadcast our music video on YouTube while maintaining complete anonymity and ensuring that we are not engaging in any unethical behaviour.
