Unsigned Artists
An unsigned artists is an artist that works independently and ‘is not under a contract or record deal’. This can also be the case for bands. A band may release their own material by themselves. They are called unsigned bands.
How can unsigned artists promote their songs without a contract?
The internet is a very useful tool for unsigned artist as this is a good way to promote the material and themselves. Often unsigned artists will post their music on an MP3 or on a website, to try and attract attention.
