Ideas for Instagram posts for my artist

 

I chose these photos because I wanted to portray a sassy but classy woman both within and outside of her music videos. However, I also wanted to represent a lively, adventurous, and outgoing individual who spends the majority of her free time travelling and socialising with her family and friends. Another part that I believed was crucial was portraying a welcoming person, such as the blank black screen, which was a trend on Instagram for a while in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign. I also believed it would be vital to demonstrate her enthusiasm for her profession, demonstrating that she does not consider her job to be work but rather a passion that she is encouraging.

Feedback we have had so far...

 Here is some of the feedback we have received so far: 

1. Luke liked the overall idea of having a dominant woman

1. He said that the office set up is too ''normal' and might be boring, frustrating, negative for an audience who want something escapist.  Therefore we as a group have collectively come up with some more ideas for set ups this includes a bath scene, where the artists is playing around with red and white balloons in a bathtub.

1. He also said that the pace of the music suggests MORE set ups and regular changes to a new set ups rather than revising old set ups throughout.  This makes it harder for you but could be achievable if you think about SIMPLE set ups that require very little scenery.  Therefore we have improved and developed some ideas such as the singer is at a red carpet event, paparazzi bothering her, taking photos, flashes going off, she pushes camera away.  For this we would only need a doorway as a background or maybe steps.  Paparazzi can be off camera and we can use lights to suggest camera flashes.  

1. Luke also suggested that we use the bed scene as the common thread running through the video to suggest that eventually she does find someone that turns her on or  interests her.  

1. However, Luke did state this very clearly, the idea in its current state is going to require a LOT of costumes / jewellery, make up / hair changes and that we should be prepared for that.

Overall, we've come to the conclusion that Matide is the best fit for our protagonist. We admired her personality, elegance, and approach to the song. Despite the fact that she didn't know the lyrics, we could see right through her and see how she would be a fantastic fit. Her assurance that she would love to be a part of the music video and play the major role has been received. We've also made sure to thank the others and let them know that while they won't be needed any longer, we appreciate them auditioning.

 

Overall, I am so happy with the people we have casted and think that they all suit the parts they have been given very well, and our all reliable people that we can count on to fully commit themselves to the part !
